The Rouna property is surrounded by green nature on all sides and is about 1 km from the village of Slap. The name of the property (Rouna) dates back to the time of the Austro-Hungarian land census. In 1765, the name Rouna was entered in the cadastre and has remained until the present day.

Healthy grapes are the basis for quality wines

Our grapes are tended with a lot of patience, love and many hours of manual and machine labour in the vineyards. We have set aside 10 hectares for vines, which are particularly well suited to the lapis soil here. In the heart of our vineyards, you can visit a large wine cellar with a tasting room, furnished in the style of traditional old Vipava wine cellars. In addition to grapes intended for wine production, the vineyards are home to 9 varieties of delicious table grapes.

We also produce vine grafts, so that we can provide the highest quality seedlings for our vineyards.

We join forces with other winemakers, educate ourselves and, among other things, work to raise the profile of our indigenous varieties - zelen and pinela. We are honoured to receive awards for our wines, as well as for our beautifully landscaped vineyards. But we are the happiest when you - our customers - are happy.
