Podraga is a typical Primorska village: narrow streets, stone walls, small windows with window frames, stones on the roofs. It is located at the extreme beginning of the Vipava Valley.
The name of the estate - Sutor - comes from the Latin for shoemaker, as the vineyard farm was once a shoemaker's workshop.

The farm's cellars date back to the end of the previous century, and a room dating back to 1933 has been converted into a tasting room and a meeting place.

The vineyards are farmed in a nature-friendly way, using old methods. They are therefore densely planted, low in growth form and low in stress. 

The wine varieties grown are Chardonnay, Rebula, Merlot, Malvasia and Sauvignon.
