Vipava House

Exhibited in the Vipava House are items that local collectors of antiquities saved from ruin and complete oblivion. The collection was exhibited in an old Vipava-style house, which dates 1859 and takes you through a wooden door into an ambience where antiquities were restored their old shine. The exhibition speaks not only about the culture of living in the past, as it also combines it with the present to preserve cultural heritage.

The rooms are equipped with furniture and textiles and there is also a plenty of paintings, photographs, pottery and decorations. The age of the exhibits dates from 1720 to 1943. All exhibited items are distinguished by handwork and thus also uniqueness.
