Thematic trail through Erzelj - Med zaselki in studenci (Between hamlets and wells)

PROGRAMME:

arrival in the village of Erzelj, where you will be met by a local tourist guide

a welcome with home-made brandy, tea or home-made juice before the start of the hike and screening of a short film about the village of Erzelj in the old school (half an hour)

a hike along the new Between Hamlets and Wells theme trail, which winds through the vineyards of Erzelj and connects many natural and cultural sights of this picturesque village in the Vipava Valley. (2 – 3 hours)

tasting of 5 top wines with a selected winemaker and a tour of a typical Vipava wine cellar. We recommend tasting of the native Vipava varieties of Pinela and Zelen with Vipava Valley prosciutto and home-made cheese. (1.5 hours)

tasting of various types of honey and mead with a selected beekeeper (1 hour)

in May and June you can treat yourself to local cherries (1 hour)

locals in Erzelj will be happy to serve home-made jota stew with a sausage to the hungriest ones (half an hour)
